2010 Cote de Madone – 91 Points

“Hearty and earthy aromas of elderberry, beet juice, smashed plums, black tea, chopped herbs and turned loam hit the nose on this blend of 75% Grenache, 12% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 2% Carignane and 1% Counoise. Coffee leads the palate, but the deep purple fruits of boysenberry and olallieberry flourish alongside black pepper, leather and a beef jerky character.” - Wine Enthusiast, 06/2015

2012 Santa Cruz Mounatins Pinot Noir – 90 Points

“Taking fruit from his estate’s neighboring, higher elevation appellation, vintner Tim Slater delivers aromas of rhubarb, beet juice and fennel shavings. The very flavorful wine is lush with red fruits and brown spices like nutmeg, delivering a solid, straight-forward representation of the beloved grape.”
